Leighton Denny Nail Polishes

Sorry for the lack of updates! I will be posting my experience and haul of IMATS on the next post! But in the meanwhile, I just wanted to let you nail polishes-addiction girls know about Leighton Denny's Nail Polish...I first heard and tried this brand from GlossyBox back in October last year and was very impressed with the application. Anyhow, I stumbled across 3 different gift sets in TK Maxx just before I went to London. I couldn't resist and so I bought all 3!!

As you can see, I definitely saved a lot from buying these sets! I even checked on the Leighton Denny's website and each coloured polish is around £11 each!! I am so happy that it had the base coat (Under Cover), Top Coat (Crystal Finish) and Lacquer Drying Drops (Miracle Drops) as this really completes a good manicure! I have only tried three of the coloured nail polishes in the gift sets (Inside Scoop, On Parade and I Love Juicy) and like Babydoll from the October's GlossyBox...1 coat gives a natural/subtle finish whereas 2 coats is perfect! My nails look smooth and shiny and it doesn't bubble or anything so I am really impressed with these polishes! Even though I still like Barry M polishes but you can tell a difference when you buy a more expensive brand of nail polish. It does convert you! You do get some really good steals from TK Maxx but you just got to check regularly!

January Valentine's GlossyBox

Hi lovelies :)

Woke up this morning and asked my lovely boyfriend if there were any post because I knew my GlossyBox had been despatched! But he came up with a letter (that is for him) which I felt slightly disappointed since everyone has their boxes. Anyway, he gets ready for work and once he opens the front door...my GlossyBox was sitting outside my doorstep!

Having the special edition for the December box last month wasn't exciting enough...they made the January Box another special edition (in hot pink!) in time for Valentine's day next month :)

This box is full of sweetness...the card, the heart sticker and...a GlossyBox sweet! I love all these little detailing, it definitely makes it special.

So...what did I receive this month?

5. Murad Hybrids Skin Perfecting Primer - Dewy Finish (RRP £29)

I'm excited to try out the Murad's Primer since it's a dewy finish which that's how I prefer. The Weleda's One Step Cleanse & Toner and the FAB's Gentle Body Wash will be in my travel bag for the 2 nights that I am staying in London this Sunday! The nail polish...you can always do with another one :) I actually made a count of my nail polishes...I hav now got 78 polishes including the ORLY nail polish! I'm such a junkie!! But all in all I can't wait to use everything except the Eyeko eyeliner in Plum...I always wear black!

Versace Cruise Collection for H&M

Heyy Everyone!

I woke up this morning to a package from H&M...the Versace Cruise Collection!!

The collection was sold exclusively online on the 19th January 2012 and me...NOT an early bird...I slept through and by the time I checked...everything was GONE! I was slightly gutted but I only wanted the shower towels from the collections...one for me and one for my boyfriend. Anyway, H&M posted on Facebook the Saturday saying that they increased the quantities so I quickly made my purchase! It's the first time I ordered from H&M and it took them a week to get the package delivered!

I love the pink & blue colour theme on this collection...there were a couple of dresses that were so cute but I didn't buy them in the end...I normally wear a lot of black...so me & vibrant colours...it's just not me...

Have you made a purchase from the Versace Cruise Collection for H&M? & What did you buy??

On another note, I am going London on the 5th-7th February!!! I'm going IMATS on the 5th! I've never been before and I've always wanted to go! I can't wait!!! Is anyone going IMATS this year?? I'm soo excited!!! :D

Chinese New Year

Hi guys~

Just wanted to wish everyone:

Happy Year Of The Dragon! 恭喜發財, 新年快樂!!

Wish I was in Hong Kong or China and celebrate it traditionally there and see all the beautiful decorations they have!

Red pockets for me and my boyfriend from my parents :) I've put them under our pillows for good luck haha!

Anyway! Has anyone broke their new year's resolution? I guess it can be an excuse for people who celebrate Chinese New Year to re-new their new year resolution or actually thinking of one now! LOL but anyhow, I broke one of my resolutions now about being healthy! Guess I will start again and be more organised this year!
