August GlossyBox

Hello!! :)

How are you all today? I was super happy this week when I got an e-mail from GlossyBox saying that this month's box has been despatched! Anyway, the postman delivered the box yesterday and I was so excited to open it!!

The packaging - again, like last month's box is well packaged ensuring that each product is damage-free. Here is the postcard that is inside the box saying what I have received this month...

1. Murad Time Release Blemish Cleanser (Sample - RRP £29)

2. Ahava Mineral Body Lotion (Sample - RRP £22)

3. Daniel Sandler Jumbo Jet Mascara (Full Size - RRP £14.85)

4. KMS California Hairstay Style Boost (Full Size - RRP £13.40)

5. Rebel Nails Nail Wraps (RRP Prices from £5.99)

And the actual products :)

Not as impressive compared to last month's box. However, out of the five products, I'm really excited to try the KMS California Hairstay Style Boost Primer, this is the first time I heard of a hair product that is a primer. The description says it enhances natural mmovement and bounce while boosting the performance of styling products. Interesting right??

Anyway the second product I been wanting to try for ages is the Rebel Nails nails wrap - something that is similar to Minx Nails. Even though I wanted a patterned one just because I'm too lazy to do all the nails and it looks better on the ring finger. But I guess it doesn't matter.

On another note, been randomly messing with make up this week, here is 2 different looks :)

For this look I watched one of the latest videos by MakeUpGeekTV on youtube where she recreated 3 different looks with the Urban Decay's Naked palette. I really enjoyed one of the looks so I tried it for myself on the eyes. It's a smokey eye look where it doesn't look too heavy and it also looks really flattering on any shape of eyes.

And this second look is a Park Bom inspired look that I just recreated.

Also this week, randomly stopped by Tesco's and saw this in the Krispy Kreme's stall, so I definitely wanted to try. I believe it was £8.95 for this chocolate collection.

Looks adorably deliciously right?

Personally, I don't think it was as tasty as it looked. The price is slightly over-priced in my opinion. I don't think I would purchase this again. The doughnuts are definately way better!!

Have a great weekend all!!

Makeup Storage

Helloo :)

Recently, my boyfriend have been moaning about where to store his books as his collection is getting bigger...so I suggested to give him mine and get myself a smaller one as I only used 3 of the shelves...so then a trip to Ikea it is...where I got the smaller bookcase so all my drawers snuggles in perfectly...also while I was there, I got myself 2 of those metal frame drawers too so I can put it under my desk and able to store more beauty/make up junk...

Lights on...

Lights off...

My bookcase :) The plastic drawers are from Staples (not sure if they still sell them) and the wooden one is from Ikea but it has been discontinued :(

I love the new layout! I shall be sticking to it now and keeping it tidy and clean! Normally, I have to choose what I want and put it on the desk and making it a mess, but since the bookcase is just behind me...I can just put it away while I am doing my make up :) Easy! Also, I put my dirty brushes in another pot so I will remember to clean them and put them away again :)

How do you store your beauty junk??

Haul

Hellooo :)

So...my friend from Leicester came up and visited and so I took her and her cousins around Manchester but also stopped by a few shops so I had to grab some goodies :D

MAC 235 Split Fibre All Over Eye Brush (RRP £21) | MAC 128 Split Fibre Cheek Brush (RRP £24) from http://www.maccosmetics.co.uk/

Topshop Powder Blush in POP & Powdered | Topshop Dot On Cheeks And Blend in Head Over Heals, High Five & Pinch (RRP £6 each) from Topshop

Garnier B.B. Cream Miracle Skin Perfector in Light (RRP £9.99) from Superdrugs

I have tried a few Asian marketed B.B creams before, the colour range is limited which is the same with this particular brand but even though I picked up the lightest shade, it is still dark for me! It blends smoothly and it smells lovely, the consistency of this B.B cream is similar to the ones I have tried before. However, the Asian marketed B.B creams is better and still more advanced. Even though their colour range is limited, I find that it blends to your skin tone a lot better unless you are very dark skin toned then you could try this B.B cream! I personally think this is a good introduction to bringing B.B creams to the rest of the world. I would like this product more if it matched my skin tone. The price? I think it is reasonable and average.

Have You tried this product yet?
What do you think of it?
